I have a garden that is very water efficient, so it looks great in the warmer months, but it can become a little overgrown and wild in the colder months. I might not spend as much time out there in winter, but I still like it to look good. I have been working on the garden design to help it look good all year round, and I have found that with the right plant selection and preparation, the garden can look great throughout the year. This blog has tips for other homeowners who are looking to improve the appearance of their garden when the weather gets wet.

Glass shower screens are a great choice for smaller bathrooms, as they open up the space and reflect light, making the area seem brighter as well as bigger. If you're thinking about replacing your standard shower curtain with a glass screen, note a few questions you might have so you know if this is the right choice for your bathroom.
How much damage is done to the bathroom for a glass shower screen?
Many hinged glass shower screens work with just two hinges, one at the top and one at the bottom of the door. These may require only two small screws each, which might be put into one wall tile for each hinge. In turn, you would only need to cut out and then replace those two tiles if you should ever change your mind about having a glass shower screen. This is usually a quick and easy fix and something that many homeowners can even do on their own.
Do glass shower screens let out a lot of water?
If you're worried about the gap between the bottom of a hinged screen and the bathtub, note that your installer can place the screen very close to the tub so that the gap is absolutely minimal and won't let out any water. You can also have a type of stopper attached to the inside of the glass shower screen; this is like a draft guard for an entryway door, which provides a tighter seal in this area. Glass shower screens are also typically as tall as the showerhead if not even taller, so you have little if any water that gets out over the top of the screen. You shouldn't notice any more water out of the tub with a glass shower screen than you would with a standard curtain.
How do they work in small bathrooms with little room for a door?
A custom made glass shower screen might accommodate your situation; you can have your manufacturer create a door that is just the right size for your bathroom, with a larger, stationary panel on one side to keep it in place. For corner showers, you can have two stationary panels on either side and a small door in the middle, or the door can be placed on one side. There are few limitations with a glass shower screen when it comes to size and location of the hinge or opening, so you're sure to find something that fits even the smallest and most awkward of spaces.
